Backups to tape
are no longer a reliable method of backing
up your servers, desktops, and laptops. Now with
'Hillside Managed
Offsite Backups', your data is backed up
safely to either a local backup appliance and replicated
to a datacentre, or directly to the datacentre. You tell
us what data you need backed up and we set it up for you
and monitor it.
Local restore of
files from an appliance is as fast as your
network where as restores from the Datacentre is limited
by your internet speed. Total restores can be brought/sent
to your site via a removable hard drive to make the restore
very fast.
Your data is encrypted
with up to 448 bit Military strength
protection. Backups are typically scheduled over night but can
run every few hours if many changes are being made during the day.
* If you are using
a Backup Appliance for your backups,
total HD images can be processed daily so if your hard drive fails,
we can replace the hard drive, and get you right back to
where you were from the last image backup within a few hours.
